About the Job

At Allianz Technology, we’re looking for a passionate IAM Business Analyst to join our global team within the IAM tribe. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing IAM solutions, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.

You’ll help enhance and maintain our Identity & Access Management systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen security across Allianz. If you have a strong understanding of IAM principles, excellent analytical skills, and thrive in a collaborative environment, this is your chance to make a direct impact on our Information Security strategy.

What you do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to identity and access management (IAM); translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for IAM solutions.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of current IAM processes to identify areas for improvement; provide recommendations for enhancing IAM governance and controls.
  • Work with IAM product owners, architects, developers, and engineers to design and implement IAM solutions within the One Identity Manager framework that meet business requirements and adhere to security best practices.
  • Participate in the configuration, testing, and deployment of IAM systems and tools; ensure IAM solutions are scalable, reliable, and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize IAM processes; develop and maintain documentation for IAM policies, procedures, and workflows.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units, IT, and Information Security teams to ensure effective communication and alignment on IAM initiatives; conduct training and awareness sessions for end-users on IAM policies and procedures.
  • Monitor IAM systems and processes to ensure effective operation and compliance; develop and generate reports on IAM metrics, incidents, and performance; assist in the investigation and resolution of IAM-related incidents and issues.

What you bring

  • Experience with modern IGA software tools such as One Identity Manager (strongly preferred), SailPoint, Salesforce, ForgeRock, Oracle Identity Manager, or similar; knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to IAM (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, DORA) is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CIAM are desirable; expertise and interest in IT security, IAM, and related fields, with openness to new trends and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proven track record in creating proper documentation and transferring knowledge in an enterprise-scaled, international environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse teams, cooperate efficiently with clients, and support new team members; experience with agile software methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
  • Experience with incident analysis/handling, maintaining close contact with architects, developers, engineers, customers, and business stakeholders; competence to manage tasks in demanding situations with problem-solving skills based on practice and precedent.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Identity and Access Management, with expertise in IAM concepts like authentication, authorization, provisioning, and role-based access control.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or comparable work experience; excellent English skills both written and spoken fluently.

What we offer

  • We offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad.
  • We believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location).
