Job Description
Link Solutions is seeking a Network Administrator (Intermediate-Level) to join our team at Fort Stewart, GA.
- Must be a US Citizen
- DoD Secret Clearance required
- Non-remote (relocation incentive available)
The Network Administrator will support the US Army’s Southeastern Regional Network Enterprise Center at Fort Stewart, GA, by managing and maintaining computer networks to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Government information assets.
This role involves installing, configuring, maintaining, and securing the network infrastructure while proactively monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing systems to support mission-critical activities. The Administrator needs to have a strong understanding of enterprise network architecture, including Layer 2/3 switching, routing protocols, and network security standards.

Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier II-III support for network and desktop systems.
- Install, configure, support, and maintain server hardware, peripherals, operating systems, and software.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues by monitoring network/server performance, diagnosing problems, and implementing timely resolutions.
- Work with networking equipment from Juniper, Cisco, and Aruba.
- Analyze network utilization data to support capacity planning and performance optimization.
- Assist in the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of disaster recovery plans.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
- Support and deliver training sessions to ensure staff effectively utilize network resources.

Qualifications
- US Citizen
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a secret DoD clearance.
- Must have four (4) years of relevant experience with a comprehensive understanding of IT network infrastructures.
- IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
- Experience in designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining core network infrastructure solutions.
- Knowledge of Windows servers, including Windows PowerShell, Active Directory, and GPO.
- Working knowledge of virtualized environments (VMware, Linux, etc.) Windows Server 2012 (or higher) Operating System Certification.
- Familiar with network vulnerability scanners (Retina, ACAS, Nessus).
Preferred:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT field.
- IAT Level III Certification (CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, etc.).
- Knowledgeable in creating a PPS (Ports, protocols, & services) request.
- Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
- A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
- Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
- Experience providing quality service and support for mission-critical systems and VIP end users.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
