We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Crisis and Security Consulting team for an Associate Consultant to provide risk consulting services to Control Risks’ clients in South Asia. This role will have a particular focus on security risk assessments, security audits and benchmarking, training, executive protection, client security management and security consultancy.

The role requires you to support an experienced team in delivering client engagements and solving complex security problems. You may also be required to respond to crisis issues and develop preventative risk management programs.

Working as part of a team or independently you will provide effective, best practice risk management solutions to our clients. This is an exciting ‘hands on’ consulting role that requires travel across the South Asia region and is client facing. The role suits a highly motivated and positive individual, comfortable with fluid operating environments, who has the self-drive to produce excellent results, sometimes in isolation.

Duties will involve:

  • Conduct security reviews and audits to evaluate the existing security systems of varied industries.
  • Conduct threat and risk assessments to find potential areas of vulnerability and recommend security countermeasures to clients from multiple sectors and industry segments.
  • Develop security policies and procedures.
  • Develop emergency/incident response plans against security risks, such as, civil unrest, insurgency, workplace violence, armed robbery, arson and terrorism.
  • Provide security management and close protection for client personnel.
  • Provide oversight and work closely with Control Risks’ security partners, to meet and exceed Control Risks’ standards for quality, compliance, and reliability.
  • Provide event security.
  • Provide operational support to the wider team, especially on internal administrative tasks.
  • Design security awareness training programs that teach employees how to incorporate security policies and procedures on their jobs.
  • Deliver security related training and workshops to clients across various industry segments.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in conducting research and summarizing relevant information.
  • Deductive report writing skills using logical reasoning and incisive language.
  • Personal excellence in any field.

Essential:

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in relevant subject

Preferred:

  • At least 1+ years of consulting experience in a corporate or consulting environment, and/or working with multinational companies in India.
  • A track record of professional excellence in a related field.
  • Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., business continuity, security).
  • Knowledge of additional regional languages would be desirable.
