Ensure Compliance & Data Privacy for the ECIS Business division(s), product line, and operational system. Communicate, coordinate and monitor regulatory compliance policies, systems and procedures, provide relevant and conduct audits/testing. Structure and implement efficient and effective compliance programs and functioning systems of internal control under the supervision of Chief Compliance Officer & Data Protection Officer. Ensure proper, adequate and timely coverage of the compliance testing, and suitable redressal of the findings.

What you’ll do

• Understanding of RBI circulars, letters and emails specific to Credit Information Companies (CICs).
• Ensuring the Data Privacy principles as per the CICRA 2005 & 2006 and the applicable laws for the CICs
• Guiding and consulting the Business Functions, Infosec, Legal on Data Privacy aspects
• Driving closures of prior RBI examinations
• Participation in any Internal/External audits conducted by the authorities in a timely manner
• Ensuring the review of the responses/artifacts submitted by the stakeholders is as per the letter & spirit
• To ensure the timely submission of the regulatory requirements
• Handling the yearly onsite RBI inspection and internal audit/Compliance audit for the department
• Responsible for the Risk Management Framework

What experience you need

• Maintain a thorough understanding of CIC’s regulatory reporting requirements
• Ensure regulatory reporting processes are effective, efficient and with adequate checks and controls in place. All returns are submitted accurately and in time.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders for streamlining the processes.
• Ensure queries and ad hoc reporting requirements from RBI are answered and attended to.
• Automation of Regulatory Reporting to help reduce manual intervention and increase efficiency.
• Verification of all Regulatory Returns / Internal MIS.
• Ensuring timely and accurate submission of RBS (i.e. Risk Based Supervision) reports to RBI.
• Automation initiatives of regulatory returns and related internal reports.
• Putting in place detailed process manuals along with approvals from relevant stakeholders.
• Good understanding of relevant compliance, data privacy and Regulatory reporting requirements

What could set you apart

• Master's degree preferred Bachelor’s degree; experience in compliance, legal or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof; experience in area of focus;
• Minimum 7 years of work experience in RBI Regulated entities domain
• CISA/ CISSP/ CIPP,
• Data Privacy
