We are currently seeking a Part-Time Network Engineer/Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have led their own network security projects in the past and will assist in evaluating and enhancing the security posture of our clients' networks.


Job Description: The Part-Time Network Engineer/Auditor will be responsible for leading network security projects, including assessing the security infrastructure of our clients' networks, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending solutions to mitigate risks. This role will involve performing comprehensive network audits, analyzing network configurations, and assessing the effectiveness of security measures in place. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering and cybersecurity, with experience in leading and managing security projects.

Requirements
  • Leading network security projects from inception to completion.
  • Conducting network security assessments and audits.
  • Analyzing network configurations and identifying security vulnerabilities.
  • Recommending and implementing solutions to enhance network security.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance on network security best practices.
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their security requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  • Documenting findings and recommendations in detailed reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in network engineering or cybersecurity, with a track record of leading projects.
  • Proficiency in network protocols and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
  • Experience with network security tools and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP preferred.
