The Role 

FL97 is seeking an experienced and dedicated Cloud Security Architect to join our team who has a passion to design and architect secure cloud solutions taking into consideration all aspects of security including network, identity and access management, data protection, vulnerability, continuous monitoring and incident response.

Responsibilities include: 

• Develop and implement Cloud security strategy
• Develop and maintain Cloud Security policies and guardrails
• Partner with Platform, Machine Learning, and IT teams to define, document, educate and enforce security best practices and implement security in Software Development Life Cycle.
• Continuously monitor cloud environments for security threats and implement proactive measures
• Identify and remediate cloud misconfigurations and security vulnerabilities
• Perform Security Operations (SecOps) responsibilities

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Cloud Computing or related field
• 4-6 years of experience working as a Cloud Security Architect with a focus on AWS
• 7-10 years of experience in Cybersecurity
• Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Security best practices
• Extensive experience with securing container-based applications and Kubernetes platforms.
• Ability to assess and effectively mitigate complex security risks
• In-depth understanding of Network Security, Identity and Access Management and Data Protection.
• Additional certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect is a plus
