Experience

Job Description

  • Experience into Office 365 (Exchange Online, Teams and other O365 Services) and Microsoft Exchange server administration (On-premise Exchange, Hybrid Server support). 
  • Strong understanding of MS Exchange 2010 / 2013 /2016 /2019 in an enterprise environment.
  • Administer user accounts, licenses, and access permissions within Microsoft 365 and EntraID.
  • Strong Knowledge on Microsoft Exchange High Availability solutions.
  • Experience in migrating legacy exchange servers 2003, 2007 & 2010 to office 365 (cloud, hosted model)
  • Perform regular backups, updates, and patches to ensure system stability on Exchange servers.
  • Experience in migrating the public folders (2010) to shared mailboxes (cloud).
  • Microsoft Teams, Skype, O365 Groups, Planner, OneNote, OneDrive, SharePoint.
  • Sound knowledge on Manage Engine to manage AD users, groups and reports.
  • Create and Manage Security groups, user mailboxes, shared mailbox, resource mailbox, contacts, distribution groups, dynamic distribution groups, address book (GAL) policies, Teams rooms, Resource mailboxes, Calendar & devices.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and manage security and compliance policies within Microsoft 365, including data loss prevention (DLP), eDiscovery, and retention policies.
  • Creating & Applying Journaling Rules, Transport rules, etc.
  • Experience with messaging and directory services technologies, including: LDAP (Active Directory), SMTP, Internet domain records such as SPF, DKIM, DMARC.
  • Should be having scripting knowledge in PowerShell to perform day to day activities.
  • Experience in administration and troubleshooting Exchange Online Protection and any one Anti-Spam Email Gateway.
  • Troubleshooting inbound and outbound queues, mail routing issues, smtp relay, server errors, mail delivery latency issues, handle Outlook, OWA, ActiveSync related issues.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes like Incident, Request, Problem and Change Management. 

Required Technical/ Functional Competencies

Technical Skills required:

  • Exchange 2013,2016 & 2019 and O365/EXO
  • Active Directory and Azure-AD.
  • Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and Manage engine.
  • Tools & Utilities: ITSM Tools such as ServiceNow, etc.

Certifications

Professional Certifications in at least two Backup/ Storage Technologies Mandatory: Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Azure Data Scientist, Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer,Biztalk and Azure Certification, AZ104, Oracle Certified Expert (OCE) Desirable: Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Service on Citrix Cloud Certified (CC-VAD-CC), CISSP, SDN Certification, OCS, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – AssociateMandatory: ITIL V4 foundation
