About the role:  
 

As the IAM Service Operations Lead, you will be leading the daily operations and support of our IAM systems, ensuring their availability, performance, and security.

  

Reporting to the Head of Cyber Defence and Identity Protection, you’ll drive continuous improvement, manage incident resolution, and collaborate with vendors to enhance service delivery and optimise operational processes.  

 

Roles & Responsibilities 

 

  • Oversee IAM system operations, ensuring availability, reliability, and performance align with SLAs. 
  • Lead and manage an IAM team, providing guidance, setting goals, and fostering a culture of improvement.  
  • Support service delivery and automate processes to enhance IAM services and reduce business impact. 
  • Manage incident and problem resolution for IAM systems, implementing preventive measures. 
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure effective service delivery and monitor SLAs and KPIs. 
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues in IAM systems, leveraging skills like PowerShell scripting. 
  • Ensure IAM system comply with security frameworks and collaborate on necessary controls. 
  • Drive continuous improvement, process optimization, and automation in IAM operations.  

 

What will you bring?  

 

  • Tertiary qualification in IT, Information Security, or 10+ years of equivalent experience with relevant certifications. 
  • Demonstrated experience as an IAM Service Operations Lead or similar role, with deep knowledge of IAM principles. 
  • Strong team management skills, including goal setting, mentoring and performance management.  
  • Understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL), ensuring IAM service stability and quality.  
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical teams. 
  • Solid knowledge of IAM systems like IGA, SSO, MFA and directory services.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of addressing complex IAM issues with technical approaches.  
  • Proficiency in relevant technologies such as using PowerShell scripting for troubleshooting / analysis / problem solving.
