Position Summary
As a Sales Executive at Everfox, you will use your skills and experience discover and win new business across Europe, whilst concurrently developing, maintaining, and growing relationships with new and existing customers, increasing Everfox’s footprint within these clients, as well as our presence in the region.
You will collaborate frequently with Everfox’s technical and customer-facing teams, playing a vital role in revenue optimisation by strengthening customer relationships, strategically identifying opportunities for upselling, and ensuring that our European customers remain happy, and thus more likely to recommend our solutions to peers.
You will have proven experience in taking innovative high assurance cyber security solutions to new international markets with a focus on the public sector, and highly regulated critical infrastructure: examples include Ministries of Defence/Interior/Foreign Affairs, national security agencies, Central Government departments, Defence Industrial Base, and CNI across the European continent. A technical background would be desirable, though not essential, as would a consultancy background, but being highly personable and able to present to audiences and speak to people is critical.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, both sharp and technically literate with the ability to deliver strong growth in client acquisition, ideally with a background focusing on data protection, cross-domain solutions, insider-threat and/or cloud security, and you will be used to the pace and language adopted within the gov and defence communities to effectively sell our solutions.
The role will involve regular travel across Europe (multiple times a quarter) to ensure we are servicing our clients as best as possible whilst also focusing on brand new logos. Due to sensitive customer requirements, applicants should be willing and eligible for security clearance applications should our customers require them. Somebody already possessing a level of clearance (e.g. UK SC) would be ideal.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the RoW (Rest of World) go-to-market team by identifying prospects, developing leads and closing new business with European gov and defence customers, whilst establishing key relationships at all levels to maximise opportunities for revenue growth.
- Build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities such that the sales pipeline reflects the capability to meet and exceed sales goals on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Positioning Everfox’s Global Security Portfolio, which including our Cross Domain Solutions, Insider Risk Solutions and Threat Protection Solutions.
- Develop an understanding of customer use cases, internal decision-making nuances, budget cycles and other key information necessary to manage and grow accounts, expanding Everfox’s footprint within these customers.
- Development and execution of account plans and client strategies, and manage, develop and support a portfolio of high-profile accounts.
- Draft quotes and providing feedback into commercial documents within tight timeframes, whilst also appreciating the client’s perspective.
- Deliver required metrics (reporting of pipeline and orders), ensuring revenue is in line with or above plan.
- Keep a close eye on market activity and trends, with regular competitor analysis.
- Remain up to date with the product roadmap to allow for a strategic approach to selling and upselling.
- Recognise the industry that Everfox operates in and appreciate the importance of following Everfox's information security policies.
- Attend various industry events, trade shows and focused symposiums to drive client expansion/upsells, increase brand awareness and value proposition.
- Continuously drive efficiency and improvements.
Key Experience and Skills
- Strong experience of taking diverse portfolios of critical cyber security solutions to the European government and defence market, with relationship management and strategic account growth in parallel.
- Experience of closing existing sales pipelines, whilst concurrently sourcing and developing new leads to build new pipelines of future business.
- Notable success in consistently delivering and/or overdelivering against a quota.
- Background in gathering, understanding, and shaping client requirements, identifying suitable use cases, and helping prospects develop internal business cases to secure funding (consultancy-led selling experience would be ideal).
- Ability to work as part of a small sales team to formulate account strategies and consistently achieve against target.
- Experience with building strong relationships throughout the sales cycle with our customer’s technical staff.
- Ability to articulate product positioning and competitive differentiation to both business and technical users, with SE support – ideally you will also have a technical background.
- Comfortable with meeting and presenting to C-level / executive level contacts.
- Strong experience of working with a CRM system, ideally this will be Salesforce but an equivalent is acceptable.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- A self-starter with a strong work-ethic and commitment to quality – resilient and able to handle stressful situations effectively while managing several tasks.
- Results driven and committed to ‘outcomes rather than output’.
- Capable of developing empathy and rapport internally with staff and with customers and partners.
- Disciplined, organised and methodical in approach to tasks and activities.
- Eligible for security clearance, ideally you will already be cleared to at least SC.
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:
£120,464.45-182,564.72 GBPThe actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
