Job Description:

Cyber Tasking Order Specialist

Our work depends on Information Systems Supervisor joining our team to provide services in support of the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). You will provide Cyberspace Tasking Orders support to NETCOM Operations for the Army.  You provide strategic and technical implementation guidance on securing the Department of Defense Information Networks (DoDIN).

HOW A CYBER TASKING ORDER SPECIALIST/ INFORMATION SYSTEMS SUPERVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Supervises employees engaged in providing information system solutions and technical support in one or more functional areas. Supervises non-exempt Technicians.
● Engage in providing information system solutions and technical support in one or more functional areas.
●Provide Cyberspace Tasking Orders support to NETCOM Operations for the Army.
● Provide strategic and technical implementation guidance on securing the DoDIN: both threat-informed and threat-agnostic.  
● Receive orders from NETCOM, ARCYBER, and JFHQ- DoDIN and analyze those orders for Army-wide implementation.  
●Provide technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or tasks.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or equivalent years of experience
Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience

Required Certification: Must be IAM Level 1 certified ( CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, Security+ CE)
Required Technical Skills:

  • Specialized experience in Army orders production, mission analysis, and orders compliance
  • In-depth understanding of the task order requirements, their responsibilities, and the ability, knowledge, experience, and skills to carry-out those requirements and responsibilities
  • Current understanding of Department of Defense Information Network - Army capabilities, tools, procedures, and operational constructs
  • DoD and Army Cybersecurity Policy, including DoD Instruction 8500.01, Cybersecurity, Army Regulation (AR) 25-2 Information Assurance and AR 25-1 Army Information Technology.
  • Working knowledge of Army Computer Systems and Network technologies and topologies to include the Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS), Top Level Architecture (TLA), and Tactical topologies (WIN-T)
  • Awareness of current and developing cyber threats, tactics, procedures, and vulnerabilities
  • Excellent technical writing, critical thinking/analytical, oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

● Security Clearance: Top Secret with ability to obtain TS/SCI

The likely salary range for this position is $78,481 - $106,181. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
