Cloud Security Engineer

Cloud Security Engineer for Detroit, MI to design, develop & implement secure cloud infrastructure, systems, capabilities, policies, standards & procedures; act as internal subject matter expert on cloud security & cyber risk topics; document cloud security processes & procedures; conduct cloud security assessments & provide recommendations; perform technical health checks for cloud platforms; configure cloud platform scanning & threat monitoring tools; mentor junior team members. Requires Master’s in C.S., Computer Engineering, I.T., Cybersecurity and Information Assurance, or closely related field & 1 yr experience in IT-related position(s): integrating & securing identity management solutions; designing, developing & deploying optimized cloud infrastructure and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS; managing cloud configurations; implementing secure network designs on Azure and/or AWS; configuring & managing Azure components, including storage, compute, network, Entra ID, AAD, IAM, MFA, and SSO; implementing RBAC & Conditional Access Policies to enhance security; configuring security tools, including MFA, SSL Certificates, and/or encryption; resolving cloud connectivity & authentication issues; collaborating with cross-functional teams to align security measures with business needs; mentoring junior team members; and working with globally distributed teams to deliver secure cloud solutions.
