Lead Database Administrator
Tasks
- Apply database updates and patches
- Attend incident calls per SLAs
- Build and implement new database infrastructure
- Coach junior DBAs
- Collaborate with other teams to optimize database infrastructure
- Document legacy processes
- Enforce security and compliance standards
- Ensure backup and recovery compliance
- Escalate complex cases to performance tuning team
- Lead database infrastructure modernization project
- Maintain SQL Server high availability and reliability
- Oversee SQL Server performance and apply fixes
- Participate in Follow the Sun support
- Review and approve database releases
