Everyone on a job hunt can probably relate to this. You're searching for the perfect role, reading the whole descriptiont twice to make sure your profile is a good fit, and after some deliberation you click through to fill out the application form and then: nothing! The listing was already closed but is still well and alive on a number of job boards out there as if nothing ever happend 🙄.

90% less outdated jobs

Well, we now implemented a solution to this. It means that we check the apply link for every listing periodically to see if it's still there or not. Actually, there's a service for that called jobdata API which does all the work for us in the background.

This way we easily catch ~90% of all closed listings in a timely manner, which already means that you're about ten times less likely to encounter an outdated listing on our site from now on. Pretty cool, right?

Job status added to Saved Jobs + CSV export

Information about outdated, filled or deleted job ads now also automatically finds its way into your list of saved jobs (Jobmarks). If you use the CSV export it's in there as well with all latest data at the time of export.
