E01-L03 Cloud Security Specialist III (GCP/OCI)
Tasks
- Architect design implement security tools and services
- Assess and mitigate system security threats
- Conduct insider threat assessments and document results
- Coordinate execution review and disposition of STIG checklists
- Create RMF authorization documentation
- Develop mitigation plans for cloud implementations
- Ensure compliance with Cloud SRG and STIG requirements
- Identify security issues and risks
- Implement automated control validation and continuous monitoring
- Implement security designs in infrastructure and applications
- Manage real time POA and M remediation
- Mentor junior staff
- Migrate security controls between NIST 800-53 revisions
- Monitor system resources with automated scanning
- Own cloud security engineering designs
- Plan and support system certification and accreditation
- Plan vulnerability and compliance scanning
- Prepare cybersecurity status briefings and materials
- Prepare technical documentation
- Support ATO conditions and requirements
- Support Interim Authority Test and Authority to Operate
- Support continuous authorization to operate
- Support cybersecurity authorizations and artifacts
- Support secure systems operations and maintenance
- Verify patch compliance and perform remediation
- Verify security requirements and controls
