Reporting to the Senior Regional Marketing Manager APAC, the Brand Development Manager, APAC leads all brand communications, ensuring Zespri is represented across APAC markets. This individual will help grow one meaningful and globally consistent brand, efficiently and effectively.
Core Responsibilities
• Be the market champion for South APAC cluster in APAC
- Lead market operations to drive regional efficiency, identifying opportunities for improvements
- Lead market strategy to drive brand growth
- Facilitate sharing of best practises
• Lead the integrated communications plan to land in multiple MDF stages:
- Develop the Integrated Communications Brief and Creative/Campaign Idea
- Support integrated communication experience through collaboration with Regional Media & Digital Manager and media partners
- Delivery of key assets on time in full to markets
• Develop impactful shopper communication to build brand and drive conversion in store.
• Be the platform champion for Red and Organic
- Build the regional overview of A&P, marketing plans based on local market inputs
- Work with local marketing teams and global COE on designing assets fit
• Work with local marketing teams to:
- Understand consumer and market needs
- Facilitate feedback on integrated communications plan and ATL assets
- Ensure creative and media outputs land in the local markets
• Work with the Global Brand Development team to:
- Ensure Zespri is represented correctly, led by the Brand Compass and Global Communication Platform
- Co-work on global projects as a representative from APAC
• Deliver on the following KPIs with cross teams:
- Meeting action standard for creative testing
- Brand Power Target, Brand Premium Target, Brand Penetration Target
- Unaided awareness target/ Brand saliency
- Projects delivery within timeline and budget
Ko wai koe? Who are you?
We are looking for an exceptional candidate with strong project management capabilities and interpersonal skills. You will also have:
- 8-10 years in a marketing role in FMCG (food category an added bonus), with experience in multi markets.
- Experience in Consumer and/or Shopper Research (Quant and Qual) - Mandatory
- Strong project management capability to ensure timelines, budget and deliverables are met.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder skills, comfortable with managing multiple stakeholders of all levels and different functions.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good team player, accountable with leadership capabilities
- Agile mindset and willing to learn
- Fluency in English (both written and oral)
- Computer skills including Powerpoint, Excel, Word, etc.
