Job Description
The Third-Party Lifecycle Management Programme (TLMP) team provides support to businesses and functions so that they can achieve their strategic aims when engaging with Third Parties. We ensure that the third parties we engage with meet the Visa risk appetite and that the business can grow safely.
TLMP is one of the key pillars of Corporate Risk, which also includes Operational Risk, Enterprise Risk, Financial Risk, and Risk Business Partnering.
The TLMP Analyst is a critical role in the TLMP team and will manage much of the operational delivery of the team. The output of the TLMP Analyst is directly related to the pace of business growth. The TLMP Analyst will have a unique opportunity to engage all areas and levels of Visa in multiple jurisdictions.
Key accountabilities and activities of the TLMP Analyst:
- Deliver the risk assessments for all new third-party engagements.
- Act as an initial face of TLMP to business and function teams who are engaging with a third party.
- Provide advice, guidance, and challenge to business and function team on third party risk matters.
- Act as subject matter expert in the use of the third-party risk system of record to achieve optimal risk records that support good risk management practices.
- Support the TLMP leadership in identifying efficiencies and providing solutions to TLMP process improvements.
- Ensuring that the TLMP risk registers appropriately reflect residual risk exposures and that plans are in place to mitigate those risks.
- Execute on discrete projects on behalf of TLMP.
- Support the broader TLMP team in identification of possible gaps of the programme against forthcoming regulation.
- Support the TLMP Senior Manager in delivering high quality data analysis in support of better risk insights.
- Ensure that TLMP Policies and procedures are being followed across Visa.
- Participate, and at times conduct, training for Visa staff.
Qualifications
- 2 years of Third-Party Risk, Operational Risk, Compliance and/or Audit experience preferred.
- Experience of performing risk assessments
- Positive attitude, high level of integrity and intellectual curiosity
- Excellent written and oral communication skills along
- Strong risk and controls mindset
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English, strong communications, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Cyber or privacy qualifications (e.g., CIPP, DMR CIPM, CIPT, CISSP) would be an advantage, though not essential.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail; comfortable in challenging the status quo and undertaking analysis to better understand business issues and to propose solutions.
