Senior Security Engineer

Senior Security Engineer, wanted in San Mateo, California.

Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats. Design and implement enterprise-class security solutions to protect Fanatics and our customers. Create solutions to balance business needs with company-specific and industry-related requirements and regulations. Identify security-related deficiencies in existing and proposed architectures. Triage cyber security incidents post-enrichment and respond to events as part of the incident response process. Automate and integrate workflows between different platforms. Deployment of Cloud infrastructure using IaC. Consult with teams throughout the company around the implementation of security best practices. Mentor team members across the security, networking, and system groups with regards to security architecture and fundamental security concepts. 

Requires Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity, or related, and 1 year experience in job offered or as a Security & Networking Specialist, or Bachelor’s Degree in same fields plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in field which includes 1 year in job offered or as a Security & Networking Specialist, or any other qualifying combination of education, training, or experience. 1 year of experience with the following skills/tools (which may have been gained concurrently): - AWS (Amazon Web Services), Google Cloud Platforms (GCP), and Microsoft Azure; - Palo Alto Firewalls and Akami WAF (Web Application Firewall). Salary: $184,579 per year plus benefits.
