Position Overview

This is a hybrid role combining technical hands-on work with client-facing project leadership.

You’ll plan and implement Microsoft 365 security tools, perform Azure migrations, and support clients transitioning from legacy infrastructure to modern cloud-based environments.

Ideal for an MSP-experienced technician with 2–3 years of experience, strong Microsoft skills, and the drive to lead projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and administer Microsoft Entra ID, Defender, Conditional Access, and Intune
   
• Lead migrations from on-prem Active Directory to cloud-hosted Entra ID
   
• Support and implement Azure cloud deployments and security controls
   
• Work with project managers and senior leadership to scope, plan, and deliver IT projects
   
• Collaborate with clients to assess needs and deliver secure, modern infrastructure solutions
   
• Document systems, procedures, and project progress clearly and consistently
   
• Use PowerShell scripting for automation and advanced configuration
   
• Stay current on Microsoft 365, Azure, and security technologies

Requirements

What You Bring

• 2–3 years in a Tier 2 IT support role (MSP experience strongly preferred)  
• Proven experience with:  
  • Microsoft 365 administration 
  • Entra ID (Azure AD)  
  • Conditional Access, Intune, Defender 
• Experience migrating from Active Directory to cloud-hosted Entra ID 
• Basic understanding of networking (CCNA not required)  
• PowerShell scripting for system automation  
• Strong communication and documentation skills  
• U.S. Citizenship required (CMMC compliance needs)  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) 
• Experience in Azure administration and cloud security 
• Ability to earn SC-200 and SC-300 certifications within 6 months (we support this!)
