Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to DLP alerts and incidents.
  • Configure and maintain DLP policies, especially within Microsoft Purview.
  • Investigate and resolve DLP-related issues and escalate complex cases as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure data protection compliance.
  • Generate reports and metrics related to DLP incidents and policy effectiveness.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of DLP strategies and best practices
  • Support EDR/XDR platforms and contribute to endpoint security initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security operations.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Purview DLP.
  • Familiarity with other DLP tools (e.g., Symantec, Forcepoint, McAfee) is an added advantage.
  • Working knowledge of EDR/XDR platforms (e.g., Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Certifications (Optional):

  • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) – Associate level
