Tyto Athene delivers secure, mission-critical solutions that empower agencies to modernize networks, enhance cybersecurity, and achieve information dominance.Tyto Athene is searching for a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer. This position will serve as Tyto’s main POC for providing additional and direct support to our Government Client for all information systems and Cybersecurity functions. The Lead Cybersecurity Engineer shall ensure compliance with all pertinent DoD IT policy and procedures for all system integrations. They shall be responsible for the oversight of all information systems and Cybersecurity for all tasks and subtasks. The Lead oversees the security protocol for computers, computer networks, and databases. They will ensure data, information, and security systems are secure and functioning as required to prevent Cybersecurity breaches of all information systems. They will provide a leadership role for all internal and external organizations to provide clear communication and direction for maximum Cybersecurity efforts. The Lead Cybersecurity Engineer shall lead the initiative for security best practices and provide recommendations to the Government. This position requires detailed understanding of the latest DODI and RMF policies.
Required:
- Five years of experience in the last seven years in the field of DoD Information Systems Security and/or Cybersecurity.
- Five years’ experience creating RMF packages and entering the data into eMASS to obtain a ATO/ATC, including all the ancillary artifacts.
- A minimum of one year of experience working RMF processes with NETCOM.
- Possess the current IAM Level III certification.
- At a minimum one of the following certifications for IAM Level III required:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) – (ISC)²
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) – ISACA
- GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC) – GIAC/SANS
- Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) – EC-Council
Desired:
- Experience as an Information System Security Manager (ISSM), Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE), and/or Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO).
- Experience in coordinating and conducting a Security Control Assessment – Validation.
- Five years of experience maintaining and managing client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.
- Possess a current professional level Computing Environment certification.
- Five years' experience as a Systems or Network Engineer in a production environment.
Clearance:
- Secret Clearance required, Top Secret eligibility desired
Location:
- This position is remote w/ up to 25% CONUS travel
