The Team

Security Platforms Engineering (SPE) scales and right-sizes Netflix’s security posture via unified data and insights for security engineers, vulnerability management, context-aware security guidance for the workforce, and informing strategic security decisions. SPE strives for an environment where security controls scale and are automatically applied with growth, critical risks are systematically reduced, and the workforce is freed from routine security decisions while being empowered to make confident, proactive, risk-informed choices when they matter.

We are hiring for an Engineering Manager to build out robust, user-focused Vulnerability Management.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Security Engineering Manager with expertise in Vulnerability discovery and management at scale. You will build out and lead the security software engineering team locally in Warsaw that owns strategy & accountability for full vulnerability visibility across domains, automated triage at scale, remediation (in partnership with security domain teams) and reporting.

You will work cross functionally with other Netflix technical teams and stakeholders to align on the requirements across domains, proactive strategy for remediation and build and integrate tooling to ensure requirements are met.

Desired Background

  • 5 years of experience leading high-performing security software engineering teams 

  • Strong background in security engineering (vulnerability management preferred)

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and can communicate complex concepts to a broad range of cross-functional partners

  • You operate effectively across teams and disciplines in highly ambiguous and rapidly changing environments
