APJ Senior Accountant (Cybersecurity Industry)

Job Description

• Perform end to end accounts payable and employee payable process.
• Prepare and manage cash flow forecast and banking interfaces.
• Manage receivables, intercompany reconciliation, fixed assets, bank reconciliation.
• Maintain general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Perform month end close including preparation and analysis of Balance Sheet/ Profit & Loss and financial / management reports.
• Prepare actuals vs budget travel and entertainment reports.
• Liaise with auditors (internal, external, SOX compliance), tax agents, bankers and other statutory bodies.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders on any issue resolutions.
• Prepare standard operating procedures and provide guidance to employees on policies and procedures.
• Drive improvements to streamline processes and enhance controls.
• Other ad-hoc tasks and projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in general accounting, especially in accounts/employee payables in a multi-country global organization.
• Understand accounting outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Taxes (VAT/ WHT) of Asia Pacific countries.
• Experience working with outsourced teams.
• Shared Services experience a plus.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team with people from different countries and cultures.
• Experience with Netsuite or equivalent ERP system
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines.
