About the Role

As an Automation Test Engineer, you'll be integral to ensuring the quality and reliability of our advanced Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) security software. You will contribute by designing, developing, and executing comprehensive testing frameworks and procedures, directly influencing the security posture of millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Develop, establish, and maintain testing criteria and procedures.
  • Design and execute functional and exploratory tests based on requirements and collaborative inputs.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated tests and frameworks using Python and pytest.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve bugs.
  • Analyze test results, report issues clearly, and track resolution progress.
  • Collaborate on designing and implementing non-functional testing (performance, scalability).
  • Advocate for quality practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Hands-on experience in software testing (minimum of 2 years).
  • Proficiency with Python, pytest, and REST APIs.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and automation.
  • Experience in functional testing automation and scripting.
  • Practical knowledge with at least one operating system: Windows, macOS, or Linux.
  • Basic TCP/IP networking knowledge for configuration and diagnostics.
  • Effective communication in English, suitable for an international team environment.

Preferred Skills (nice to have)
  • Experience in Agile or DevOps environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git).
  • Experience testing web-based applications and APIs.
  • Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or VM.
  • Good understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL queries and data management.
  • Experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools (Process Explorer, Process Monitor, Wireshark).
  • ISTQB Foundation Certification.

  • Atlassian suite: Jira, Confluence, BitBucket
  • CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git
  • Tools such as Selenium, pytest, Process Explorer, Process Monitor, Wireshark, and other diagnostic utilities
