(VV) Systems Vulnerability Analyst, Level 3 (TS/SCI w/Poly)

Position Summary:

The Kenjya-Trusant Group is looking for a System Vulnerability Analyst to support our Maryland customer in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Essential Job Functions:

• Identify vulnerabilities of and attacks to the design and operation of a system (H/W, S/W, personnel, procedures, logistics, and physical security) by relating vulnerabilities and attacks to effects on operations and missions supported by those systems.
• Compare and contrast various system attack techniques and develop operationally effective countermeasures.
• Produce formal and informal reports, briefings, and perspectives of actual and potential attacks against the systems or missions being studied.
• Identify the types and functions of computer and telecommunications network elements, document their intercommunications, and map physical and logical target networks by graphing their communications.
• Prevent, assess, and/or mitigate threats to information systems and infrastructures and the information contained in or transmitted by these systems. This encompasses threat reduction, vulnerability reduction, incident response, information assurance, and computer network operations, to include anomalies, discovering means of penetration, and exploiting information system infrastructures.
• Characterize and communicate essential elements of a network (e.g., network map, community of interest).
• Analyze threats posed to various systems, technologies, operations, or missions (including likely behaviors of adversaries) and countermeasures to address
• Apply principles, methods, and tools for assessing and mitigating threats/vulnerabilities and associated risks.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree with eight (8) years of experience OR Master’s with six (6) years of experience OR High School diploma with ten (10) years of experience.
• Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is: $175,000 - $196,000.
