Overview

Your role will be to be part of growing team based in Dallas, to create and support global digital developments for PepsiCo. These developments will be around supply chain, with a focus on supply chain network design.

You will be part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team around data, where you will be responsible of our continuous delivery of statistical/optimization/simulation/ML models. You will work closely with process owners, product owners and final business users. This will provide you the correct visibility and understanding of criticality of your developments.

You will be an internal ambassador of the team's culture around data and analytics. You will provide stewardship to colleagues in the areas that you are an specialist or you are specializing.

Responsibilities

  • Active contributor to code development in projects and services.
  • Maintain stakeholder alignment to define and drive execution of the network design advanced analytics roadmap.
  • Partner with data scientist working on discovery, prototypes and pilot.
  • Focus on experiment tracking.
  • Build, deploy or publish models that run efficiently. Act as contributor in innovation activities.
  • Help drive optimization, testing, and tooling to improve quality.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $89,000 - $149,000.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

Key Qualifications:

  • 4+ years working in a team to deliver production level analytic solutions.
  • 4+ years’ experience in ETL and/or data wrangling techniques.
  • 4+ years’ experience in Statistical/ML/Deep Learning techniques to solve supervised (regression, classification) and unsupervised problems.
  • 4+ years’ experience in developing business problem related statistical/ML modeling with industry tools with primary focus on Python development.
  • Experience in Supply Chain Network Design.
  • Experience in mathematical optimization (preferably applied to Supply Chain network optimization).
  • General Supply Chain (inventory management, transportation, …) and Finance knowledge is a plus.
  • Background in Operations Research is a plus.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to designing heuristics and approximation algorithms for NP-hard problems, balancing solution quality and computational efficiency.
  • Graph theory knowledge (preferably experience with NetworkX library) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with causal inference.
  • Strong communications and organizational skills with the ability to deal with ambiguity while juggling multiple priorities.
  • Experience with managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Advanced Python skills.
  • Experience in Forecasting.
  • Experience with OOP.
  • Experience with Agile methodology for team work and analytics ‘product’ creation.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services is a plus.
  • Fluent in Docker is a plus.
  • Fluent with design and management of APIs is a plus.
  • Experience with distributed systems is a plus.
  • Experience with Databricks and Mlflow is a plus.
