Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team in a 2nd Line of Defense role. The position will be responsible for the analysis and support of security incidents, initiating appropriate countermeasures to mitigate potential threats. This role involves assessing technical and organizational security measures and procedures to ensure the highest standards of protection.

Key responsibilities include the validation and preparation of cyber threat intelligence data, as well as the continuous assessment and monitoring of current cyber threats. The position will be proactive in the continuous development and optimization of security workflows and security monitoring use cases, both technically and conceptually.

Additionally, the role requires the preparation and analysis of security-related data to ensure that accurate and timely information is available for decision-making. The candidate will also be responsible for handling and further developing internal cyber risk reports tailored to various stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective risk management.

Requirements

• Completed education in computer science (apprenticeship or degree)
• Extensive knowledge, further training, or certifications in the field of IT security are desired
• Knowledge in software development is an advantage
• Willingness for on-call duty
• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
• Motivation and curiosity to continuously acquire new knowledge
• Team player, excellent communication skills as well as reliable and precise way of working
