Scope: This job role is for a Technical Lead responsible for operationalizing network security policies, system security, access control, and data safeguards according to security standards. The role includes enforcing security policies across all network systems and nodes, analyzing vulnerabilities specific to nodes, applications, services, and protocols, conducting network scanning assessments, and recommending solutions. Additionally, the Technical Lead will provide technical support for various security projects and implementations, support internal and external audits, assess audit findings, and ensure mitigation.

Major Responsibilities:

• Set Telco security target in-line with group/local Business Security requirement.

• Assess status for each Telco system, set phase wise action list for each system and drive action according to target.

• Ensure enforcement of security policies for all Network system/nodes.

• Recommend and support for implementation of security guideline for any new network node deployment, swap, expansion related activities.

• All System, Operation log forwarding to Security Operation Center and mature use cases.

• Ensure regular vulnerability scanning, reported incident analysis, identify root cause and mitigation.

• Analysis of Security incidents, assess impact and act for proactive safeguard of Node/Service.

• Support Telco modernization projects uplifting security posture of Network elements.

• Technical lead of NFVI cloud platform security operation.

• Demand to system vendors and ensure security patch against vulnerabilities of the system.

• Ensure Access control, user access hardening and data safeguard as per the Security standard.

• Telco Asset inventory prepare with classification and ensure periodic update.

• Work with RAFM and network control - logic set, analyze data, and identify fraud cases. Work for fraud mitigation and maturity of the control.

• Responsible to support internal and external Audit, assess audit findings and ensure mitigation as per the timeline.

• Governance of MS partner & OEM and bring Security poster and action maturity.

• Periodically aware Telco Team with security threat and educate with guideline/To-do action.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• B.Sc. Engineering in EEE/CSE/Telecommunications.

• 6 to 8 years working experience in Telco Operation including NFVI cloud platform operation. 

• At least 4 to 5 years extensive working experience in Telco Security filed.
