The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a highly experienced project management professional to lead our complex Policies, Plans and Projects (PP&P) Mission Partner team to support a DoD customer in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the single point of contact for USAREUR-AF G6 Policies, Plans, and Projects (PP&P) requirements, overseeing contractual and technical performance.

  • Manage, direct, and lead the engineering and service delivery of multiple complex IT and communication system solutions for PP&P, including transition-in support.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of 34-48 personnel, including subcontractors and Mission Partner Leads (MPLs) for various locations.

  • Collaborate with the Mission Modernization and Innovation Team (M2IT) to adapt EMITS 2 processes for PP&P requirements.

  • Manage complex IT and communication system projects, overseeing requirements, scope, budget, schedule, and performance in support of the USAREUR-AF EMITS 2 program.

  • Oversee mission system services, including lifecycle management, engineering, integration, and sustainment of required systems and connectivity.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs) and schedules with key milestones and critical path information.

  • Implement project management best practices in accordance with the EMITS 2 Program Management Plan, including risk, communications, and quality management.

  • Develop and manage procurement strategies, including timely processing of Requests to Initiate Purchase (RIPs) and ensuring proper export licensing and international transportation.

  • Monitor, adjust, and report on PP&P project portfolio performance, budget, and schedule.

  • Provide interim progress reviews to the Government as needed.

  • Assist in proposing, implementing, and enforcing Government policies, standards, and methodologies.

  • Apply expert technical knowledge and domain expertise to multiple complex work assignments.

  • Supervise the preparation of studies, reports, and acquisition documents.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • BA/BS Degree with 10-15 years experience

  • A minimum of 8 years managing a highly technical team of engineers

  • Experience with the MND Architects and Engineers to ensure the project aligns with the government’s goals for the Army Mission Partner Environment

  • Experience scoping customer requirements into actionable tasks supporting the Mission Partner Environment

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

Desired:

  • Experience in supporting USAREUR-AF G6 Mission Partners

  • Experience managing complex IT and communication system projects.

  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)

  • CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$126,100 - 277,300 USD
