Program Manager

The Program Manager of this work will be responsible for all aspects of what this program does and fails to do. Individuals with great experience leading large and diverse teams, specifically in the data/AI space.

The team is currently a geographically dispersed organization of over 20+ team members with diverse skill sets. Supporting a variety of clients and stakeholders, the Program Manager for this role should possess experience in leading in this type of geographic model.

Contributions

As a Program Manager, you will be the leader, driving delivery in a government client consulting environment.  You will be a client manager, coach, mentor, and an accountable program manager with a proven track record of leading deployments of solutions in a client environment.

• Program finances, increasing operating income and gross margin while ensuring client delight and effective delivery
• Your experience in various Agile methodologies
• What is your experience leading data efforts, both at the enterprise level and with very specific focus areas
• How do you handle conflict resolution
• Experience in Program Management and leadership that you’d draw from
• Your experience in federal contracting and working with federal clients
• How you interface and engage with all levels of a team, mentor them, and lead them

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of relevant leadership experience supporting government IT and cyber security programs; OR Masters degree and 9 years of experience
• Strong understanding of data platforms highly preferred
• Experience in Agile and DevSecOps
• Program and contract management for upwards of 20 FTEs across various contract/task order/clin levels
• Experience interfacing with federal Contracting officials
• Experience with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) strongly preferred

Preferred:

• PMP, Scrum Master certification preferred
• DHS Public Trust clearance

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $200,000.  The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
