Job Brief:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team and enhance the security posture of our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and applications. The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of Development, Security, and Operations to ensure security best practices are integrated into every stage of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). You will support secure delivery of PHP/Java backend systems and Android/iOS applications deployed on AWS, using Jenkins for automation and ELK for monitoring and logging.

Job Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Security: Implement and maintain secure Jenkins pipelines, integrating security checks such as SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and secret detection.
• Cloud Security: Design and enforce security controls in AWS environments including IAM policies, VPC security, encryption, and incident response.
• Monitoring & Logging: Utilize ELK stack for proactive security monitoring, log analysis, and anomaly detection.
• Application Security: Collaborate with PHP and Java developers to secure web services and APIs; conduct threat modeling and code reviews.
• Mobile App Security: Work with Android and iOS teams to enforce security best practices in mobile app development and releases.
• Automation & Compliance: Automate compliance checks and enforce security policies across infrastructure and deployments.
• Vulnerability Management: Identify, track, and remediate security vulnerabilities in infrastructure and applications.
• Incident Response: Support the incident response process by analyzing logs and contributing to post-mortems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or Security Engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure security.
• Strong command of Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline security integrations.
• Proficient in managing and analyzing logs using the ELK stack.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices in PHP and Java.
• Understanding of mobile application security for Android and iOS platforms.
• Working knowledge of containerization and tools like Docker (Kubernetes is a plus).
• Experience with security tools like SonarQube, Trivy, Aqua, Clair, or OWASP tools.
• Solid grasp of networking, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
