The Role

We’re looking for an exceptional Systems Administrator with strong backend experience across IT infrastructure, security operations, and endpoint management. The ideal candidate is highly skilled with enterprise-level SSO and MDM systems, thrives in cloud environments, and brings a security-first mindset to everything they doYou’ll play a critical role in keeping our systems secure, scalable, and efficient while driving automation, supporting audits, and mentoring others.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and support core IT infrastructure, including SaaS applications, endpoint devices, and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP).
  • Oversee incident and service request management via ticketing systems.
  • Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting for system and service disruptions.
  • Manage asset inventory, software licensing, and user lifecycle processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provision and maintain secure access to systems and tools.
  • Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in coordination with the security team.
  • Manage SIEM, add and manage logs, and setup and manage SOC alerts.
  • Administer and maintain endpoint detection and response (EDR), identity and access management (IAM), and multi-factor authentication (MFA) systems.
  • Support audit readiness for frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and others.
  • Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Participate in risk assessments and support business continuity planning.
  • Drive small to mid-sized projects focused on system upgrades, security enhancements, and process automation.
  • Coordinate with vendors and managed service providers (MSPs) to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Communicate outage and project status to employees and leadership
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior staff

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of experience in IT operations, security operations, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of macOS, Google Workspace and Windows environments.
  • Hands-on experience with MDMs, identify management systems, PAM software and DLP solutions.  
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS and GCP).
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as SOC 2, and ISO 27001.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with identity platforms such as Okta, and Google Workspace.
  • Proficiency with MDMs software such as Jamf and Workspace One
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) preferred.
  • Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools preferred.

The typical total on target earnings for this position is $130,000 - $150,000. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for this position and your pay will be determined by a variety of factors, including your primary work location, skills, qualifications and experience.
