This role is pivotal to strengthening the strategic and operational impact of the Cybersecurity function. The Director will lead cyber management and strategy initiatives, ensuring cohesive communication, informed decision-making, and alignment across teams. The position supports the Office of the CISO by maintaining critical cybersecurity materials, enabling strategic planning, and enhancing internal engagement. This role bridges strategic vision and operational execution. It ensures the Cybersecurity organization communicates effectively, responds efficiently to internal and external demands, and remains agile in a rapidly evolving threat and technology landscape.

What you’ll do in the role:

Maintain an inventory of Cybersecurity materials to support requests for information (RFIs).

  • Collaborate across functions and teams to aggregate relevant data into a central library.

  • Conduct periodic review sessions with senior team members to validate data accuracy.

Assist the Office of the CISO to prepare and maintain the Cybersecurity Strategy, including:

  • Assist in the development and implementation Lead the completion of cybersecurity assessments such as the Cyber Risk Institute (CRI) assessment and other security testing and assurance initiatives.

  • Support the analysis of market trends and emerging technologies.

  • Participate in strategic business planning sessions and document key takeaways.

  • Conduct basic research to support strategic initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data.

  • Drive the uplift of the Cyber, Information Security, and Resiliency Strategy through business analysis, technology planning, and initiative documentation

Assist in the development of Cybersecurity Strategic Reporting initiatives.

  • Prepare strategic reports and presentations, including Executive and Board materials.

  • Coordinate with other departments and business units to collect and synthesize key data.

  • Participate in the development of standardized Cybersecurity Strategic reporting templates.

  • Support the tracking and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Lead the completion of cybersecurity assessments such as the Cyber Risk Institute (CRI) assessment and other security testing and assurance initiatives.

Support the development of materials for internal Cybersecurity communications, including:

  • Cyber Operating Procedures

  • Cyber Governance Handbook

  • Cybersecurity Open Forums

  • Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Quarterly Briefings

  • Cybersecurity Quarterly Newsletters

  • Internal Cybersecurity Jive web pages

  • Cybersecurity communications runbooks

  • Provide administrative support to senior team members and leadership as needed.

  • Workforce Management – financials, headcount analysis, RTO, employee engagement initiatives.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and frameworks e.g. CRI, NIST-CSF, SOC2 ISO/IEC 27001 & 27002.

  • Translating technical controls into business risk narrative for board/executive audiences.

  • High EQ and ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Basic knowledge of market trends and emerging technologies.

  • Familiarity with project management and strategic planning tools.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Salary range for the position: $85,000 - $150,000/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
