The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) specializing in AI/ML systems. You will leverage your senior experience and leadership capabilities to shape the security landscape of cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions.  You will be at the forefront of securing the AI/ML lifecycle, ensuring compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF), and managing security reviews for both tools and models.  Join us in this exciting role where you'll lead the charge in securing the future of AI and ML technologies and shaping the standards for AI security in critical environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and review technical security assessments of AI/ML computing environments

  • Identify vulnerabilities and non-compliance issues with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations

  • Recommend and implement mitigation strategies for AI/ML systems

  • Validate and verify system security requirements for AI/ML solutions

  • Design, develop, and integrate IA and security systems for AI/ML environments, including those with multiple enclaves and varying data protection requirements

  • Lead the security review process for AI/ML tools and models

  • Ensure compliance with RMF throughout the AI/ML lifecycle

  • Provide senior-level expertise and leadership in AI/ML security

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related field (or 4 years of equivalent ISSE experience)

  • 14+ years of experience as an ISSE on similar programs and contracts

  • DoD 8570.01-M compliance with IASAE Level 2

  • CISSP Certification • Experience with AI/ML RMF SSP authorization

  • Expertise in AI/ML services contracts and configurations

  • Proficiency in conducting AI/ML request security reviews

Desired:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field

  • Additional certifications in cybersecurity or AI/ML

  • Experience leading teams or mentoring junior security professionals

  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex security concepts to diverse audiences

  • Familiarity with emerging AI/ML security trends and best practices

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$131,800 - $290,000
