Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below
- Provides expertise to configure and maintain DevSecOps tools in a Gov Cloud environment.
- Experience developing and utilizing CI/CD pipelines to promote developer code across environments.
- Provides expertise to configure and maintain DevOps tools including but not limited to GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, and SonarQube.
- Implements and supports platforms for containerized applications using AWS managed services such as EKS.
- Ensures the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems and network connections. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links.
- Analyzes and resolves end user software program and connectivity issues. Provides end user training.
- Provide recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision.
- Will be required to provide both local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location. Support includes general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications.
- Applies advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications, and ensuring fault tolerance. Performs vulnerability management
Education, Requirements and Qualifications
- US Citizenship required to obtain a clearance with the customer.
- Seven (7) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, six of which are specialized in numerous specialized Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions, four of which are concentrated, hand-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.
- Two (2) years of direct support of DevSecOps environments.
- Experience supporting containerized workloads in AWS
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development lifecycle, including
- coding standards,
- code reviews,
- source control management,
- build processes,
- testing,
- operations
- Basic understanding of networking setup
- Experience with Debugging, troubleshooting, log searching
- Understanding of metrics, monitoring, alarming and dashboarding concept
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- This role is Hybrid 3 days onsite/week
- Location: Onsite in - McLean Va
