Who we are looking for:
The EHSS Supervisor, Risk & Security is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of physical security systems and risk mitigation strategies across the enterprise. This role plays a critical part in defining access control standards, supporting the development of a centralized Security Operations Center (SOC), and enhancing business continuity and resiliency efforts. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in corporate security, preferably with prior experience in law enforcement, military, or public service, and a deep understanding of manufacturing environments.

- Access Control Systems: Define, standardize, and oversee the implementation of enterprise-wide access control systems, ensuring consistency, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
- Security Operations Center (SOC): Lead the design and planning of a centralized SOC, including organizational structure, technology requirements, and operational protocols.
- Physical Security Oversight: Manage physical security programs across corporate and manufacturing sites, including surveillance systems, intrusion detection, and perimeter security.
- Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct security risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address vulnerabilities across facilities and operations.
- Incident Response: Coordinate and support response efforts for security incidents, including investigations, reporting, and corrective actions.
- Business Continuity & Resiliency: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain business continuity and resiliency plans, ensuring preparedness for emergencies and disruptions.
- Policy Development: Create and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Training & Awareness: Deliver security training and awareness programs to employees and contractors, promoting a culture of vigilance and preparedness.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Oversee third-party security service providers, ensuring performance, compliance, and alignment with company standards.
- Metrics & Reporting: Develop and maintain security performance metrics, dashboards, and executive summaries to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
What you bring to the team:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Emergency Management, or a related field. Advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in corporate physical security, with a strong preference for candidates with prior law enforcement, military, or civil service backgrounds.
- Certifications: Specialized security certifications are preferred (e.g., CPP, PSP, CEM, etc.).
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of access control systems, surveillance technologies, and physical security infrastructure.
- Experience designing or managing a Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Familiarity with business continuity planning and emergency response frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.
- Proficiency in security management software and reporting tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Working Conditions and Environment:
- This position is primarily office-based, with regular travel to manufacturing and corporate sites for audits, assessments, and implementation support.
- Must have the ability to travel, both domestic and international (up to 25%).
Physical Requirements:
- Must have the ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Must have the ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
