About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and technically skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our Data Protection team. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of safeguarding AGL’s data by managing and enhancing our Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and insider threat platforms.
 

You’ll work hands-on with tools like endpoint DLP, CASB, and UEBA, integrating third-party applications, developing custom rules, and supporting incident investigations. Your expertise will help shape a world-class DLP program that protects sensitive data and supports our broader cybersecurity strategy.
 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operate and uplift DLP tools, including rule creation, tuning, and alert management.

  • Manage and maintain DLP and insider threat platforms.

  • Integrate third-party applications via APIs and log ingestion.

  • Conduct proactive data protection hunts and behavioral analysis.

  • Support incident response with L2/L3 analysis and escalation.

  • Collaborate with Legal and People & Culture on investigations.

  • Document methods, procedures, and case outcomes.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
     

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.

  • 4+ years in cybersecurity, law enforcement, military intelligence, or investigative roles.

  • Strong technical knowledge of DLP architecture and tools.

  • Experience with RESTful APIs and automation platforms.

  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with cloud security concepts.

  • Bonus: Experience in digital forensics, scripting (Python, PowerShell), or e-discovery.
