Computer Security Administrator

Overview

​The Computer Security Administrator will be responsible for managing and supporting Special Security Administrator functions, including Top Secret indoctrinations and compliance with security regulations such as FAR 52.204-2 and DD Form 254. The role involves handling classified information up to Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS-SCI) and Special Access Program/Special Access Required (SAP/SAR).  The specialist will implement Operations Security (OPSEC) measures, develop security plans, and ensure adherence to cybersecurity and information assurance training requirements. Additionally, the position requires coordination with Army Futures Command, Army Staff, and other DoD agencies to support mission objectives, risk management, and strategic communications.  The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the field, strong knowledge of Army cybersecurity policies, and expertise in managing security clearance processes. This role is 100% onsite in Aberdeen, MD, and requires a TS-SCI clearance.​ 

Responsibilities

• Perform Special Security Administrator functions to support Top Secret indoctrinations.  
• Ensure compliance with FAR 52.204-2, Security Requirements, and DD Form 254, Contract Security Classification Specification.  
• Manage access to classified information, including TS/SCI and SAP/SAR.  
• Support OPSEC measures and develop OPSEC SOP/Plan in compliance with AR 530-1.  
• Conduct cybersecurity and information assurance training per DoD and Army requirements (DoDD 8140.01, DoDM 8140.03, AR 25-2).  
• Coordinate activities and information with Army Futures Command, Army Staff, and other DoD agencies.  
• Maintain awareness of U.S. Army operations and policy to facilitate mission goals and objectives.  
• Prepare summaries for meetings, staff calls, and secure video teleconferences.  
• Develop technical inputs for internal controls, risk management, and administrative policies.  

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in the field of Information System Security or Special Security Administration. 
• Proven expertise in handling classified information and supporting Top Secret indoctrinations.  
• Familiarity with Army cybersecurity policies (AR 25-2, AR 530-1) and DoD directives (DoDD 8140.01, DoDM 8140.03).  
• Experience with OPSEC training and implementation.  
• Strong knowledge of security clearance processes and compliance with FAR and DFARS regulations.  
• Must possess a TS-SCI security clearance. 

Preferred:

• Experience with Army Training Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) and cybersecurity awareness training.  
• Familiarity with Synchronized Pre-Deployment Operational Tracker (SPOT) for tracking contractor personnel.  
• Ability to develop and maintain strategic communications and technical data briefings.  
• Knowledge of human resources support systems such as IPPSA, EMPReS, and iPERMS.
