Holiday Inn Club Vacations seeking a Manager of Cybersecurity and Emerging Technologies responsible for leading the evaluation, integration, and secure deployment of advanced technologies within the enterprise cybersecurity program. This role focuses on proactively addressing modern threats, enabling secure innovation, and aligning security capabilities with the organization’s digital transformation goals. The ideal candidate combines deep technical knowledge with strategic foresight to champion security while driving the adoption of cloud, automation, and emerging solutions across the timeshare business ecosystem. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about cybersecurity, and ready to contribute to protecting the digital infrastructure of a timeshare organization that serves thousands of vacation owners and guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Lead the strategy and execution of cybersecurity initiatives focused on innovation, including cloud security, automation, AI/ML, zero trust, and next-gen architecture.
- Oversee the secure implementation of emerging technologies in collaboration with infrastructure, application, and enterprise architecture teams.
- Serve as the cybersecurity lead on cross-functional initiatives, ensuring security-by-design practices are embedded into new platforms and services.
- Conduct research and proof-of-concept evaluations of new technologies to assess security implications and business value.
- Collaborate with Technology team and DevOps teams to mature DevSecOps capabilities and secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop security architecture patterns and best practices for new solutions, including SaaS, mobile, and cloud-native applications.
- Maintain awareness of evolving threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory trends impacting modern technology stacks.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including architecture diagrams, policies, standards, and risk assessments.
- Support incident response efforts involving new or unfamiliar technologies and contribute to post-incident reviews.
- Partner with the broader Cybersecurity team on governance, risk, compliance, and security awareness efforts.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or infrastructure/architecture roles, with 2+ years in a leadership or management position.
- Proven experience implementing and managing security in cloud and hybrid environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, DevSecOps principles, automation scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Terraform), and CI/CD integration.
- Deep understanding of security architecture, zero trust, secure access models, and modern authentication standards.
- Understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001).
Certifications (preferred but not required):
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
- GIAC (GSEC, GCIA, GCSA)
- CISSP or equivalent
- AWS Certified Security Specialty.
- Microsoft SC-100

- Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity engineers focused on architecture, automation, and innovation.
- Provide performance management, coaching, and professional development for direct reports.
- Manage contractors, consultants, or vendors supporting cybersecurity and emerging technology initiatives.
- Participate in budget planning, resource forecasting, and project prioritization
