This position requires strong cross-organizational leadership, communication skills, deep technical security knowledge and being very hands-on with security designs, threat modeling, security reviews, vulnerability management and end-to-end security controls.

What You'll Do

You will be expected to lead the organization that is responsible for:

  • Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration to develop comprehensive security protocols and ensure adherence.

  • Engage with senior technical leadership to provide expert guidance on regulatory compliance.

  • Strategically develop robust security policies and controls for endpoints like laptops and remote work environments.

  • Ensure security for corporate SaaS environments through continuous monitoring, threat detection, and vulnerability management.

  • Drive adoption of automation and advocate for cutting-edge security tools.

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential delivery risks across all organizational functions.

  • Escalate significant delivery risks and critical issues to higher management.

  • Collaborate to establish and evolve security policies, standards, and risk management practices with Risk and Compliance.

The Skillset

  • Minimum of 10 years of direct management experience in Security Leadership roles.

  • Proven ability to plan and independently direct security initiatives, both hands-on engineering and managerial responsibilities.

  • Experience managing and responding to a security breach.

  • Adaptability to the rapid learning and ambiguity inherent in fast-evolving fields like AI.

  • Demonstrate and maintain core expertise in one or more security infrastructure disciplines, enabling leadership through proficiency.

  • Experience with Application Security, Okta SSO, Sentinel1 or similar.

  • Experience collaborating with security infrastructure, networking, and IT teams, with the capability to scale a team across multiple product suites.

  • Established record of effectively managing large-scale systems and implementing various security posture maintenance strategies.

  • Prior experience with Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), particularly in conducting vendor security assessments.

  • Proven ability to work effectively with business, Development, and Engineering personnel at all organizational levels, including executive management.

  • Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and controls including CJIS, ISO27001, GDPR, SOX, SOC 2, and FedRAMP.
