Overview

The Network Operations Section Lead-Senior will provide oversight of the network’s hardware ensuring capabilities are provided to users. Serves as the focal point to providing computing services for all the clients’ needs.

 

This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning, execution, administration, operation, and maintenance of virtual servers, virtual desktops, optical networks, traditional switch and CAT 5/6 systems, and the planning and execution of transition from current infrastructure to a one base network infrastructure or to a service cloud model. All specialized support projects shall be submitted to a change request board, assigned a project manager, and built by a technical team capable of executing an approved project plan.
  • Responsible for the application of system analysis techniques and procedures focused on the ANGRC's IT systems/networks.
  • Will design and develop processes focused on continued support to the clients’ IT infrastructure.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or five or more years of project management experience.
  • Possess a minimum of seven years of experience in IT data center operations and a minimum of three years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Hold a current IAT level 3 certification or higher.
  • Possess one or more of the following certifications.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Engineer (MCSE): Cloud Platform and Infrastructure.
  • Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

  • Must possess problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.
  • Skill in managing multiple priorities and tasks concurrently to meet deadlines while establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.
  • Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.
  • Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.

Pay Range

USD $110,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.
