Corteva Agriscience is looking for an innovative, energetic, and transformational Director, Cybersecurity Fusion Center. 

The Director of the Cybersecurity Fusion Center is a critical leadership role responsible for the comprehensive oversight and strategic direction of the center. The Director ensures the cohesion and effectiveness of the center's cybersecurity operations, spanning Information Technology (IT) Cybersecurity, Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity, Physical Security, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Data Protection, Insider Threat Management, and Cybersecurity Incident Response. Trusted advisor to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Serves as Acting CISO when the CISO is unavailable.

Primary Responsibilities - How will you help us Grow!
 

Strategy

  • Develop and implement the center's vision, strategy, and goals in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Lead transition from a traditional Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC) model to a Cybersecurity Fusion Center model.

Leadership

  • Lead a team of people managers and individual contributors by providing management, empowerment, and coaching for the team in a global environment.
  • Develop and motivate team members to perform at their best, optimizing their capabilities.

Information Technology Cybersecurity

  • Oversee the protection of the organization's IT infrastructure and data.
  • Implement security measures, policies, and protocols to safeguard against cyber threats.

Operational Technology Cybersecurity

  • Manage the security of OT systems, ensuring the integrity and availability of critical operational processes.
  • Collaborate with OT teams to integrate cybersecurity best practices.
  • Lead the OT workstream of Corteva’s IT/OT Cybersecurity Program.

Physical Security

  • Lead the integration of Physical Security monitoring into the Fusion Center.

Cyber Threat Intelligence

  • Lead efforts to gather, analyze, and disseminate cyber threat intelligence.
  • Stay ahead of emerging threats and advise on proactive measures to mitigate risks.

Cybersecurity Incident Response (IR)

  • As Incident Commander, direct the IR team in identifying, evaluating, and responding to cybersecurity incidents.
  • Establish procedures for timely and effective incident management and recovery.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards via coordination with the Governance, Risk and Compliance Team.

Training and Awareness

  • Ensure the Fusion Center Team is highly trained on the latest cybersecurity operations Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP).
  • Equip staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and respond to security threats.

Budget Management

  • Manage the center's budget, allocate resources effectively, and oversee financial planning to support cybersecurity initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Lead Corteva’s Data Protection (DP) and Insider Threat Management Programs.
  • Foster collaboration between IT, OT, physical security, intelligence, and business teams.
  • Manage and coordinate all tasks performed by Corteva’s Managed Security Services (MSSP). Execute MSSP recompete with an emphasis on re-imagining the staffing model for the Fusion Center and insourcing tasks and personnel where appropriate.
  • Lead and support other ad-hoc cybersecurity projects, initiatives, and tasks.

Experience and Education – What you'll bring to the table!

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple cybersecurity domains. Significant experience in a global company preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.

Certifications

  • Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or others.

  • Leadership: Ability to engage, motivate, and develop team members; strong capability to influence without authority.
  • Strategic Thinking / Problem-Solving: Ability to critical assess issues and provide counsel on recommended path forward; innovative thinking.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills; ability to clearly communicate via different channels and to different stakeholders; experience communicating with senior leadership and translating technical concepts into business communications.
  • Collaboration: Ability to effectively collaborate across the organization; understands how to adapt to dynamic business needs.
  • Results Driven: Ability to successfully execute and meet objectives/deadlines; solves problems with minimal guidance and understand show to navigate through ambiguity; stays calm under pressure.
  • Attributes: Integrity, professionalism, and commitment to Corteva’s Cybersecurity goals. Ability to stay calm under pressure and make informed decisions in dynamic, ambiguous environments.

The salary range for this position is $171,000.00 to $235,000.00.

This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
