Job Description:

We are looking for a experienced SOC Leader to support the day-to-day operations and strategic activities for our Security Operations Center. The SOC Leader will be responsible for coordinating the effective detection, analysis and response to cybersecurity theats in real-time. This role is critical in maintaining the organization's cyber defense posture. You will assist the Cyberdefense Manager in overseeing the SOC team, improving operational efficiency and ensuring the delivery of high-quality cybersecurity services.

🚀 Your next challenge
We are looking for a experienced SOC Leader to support the day-to-day operations and strategic activities for our Security Operations Center. The SOC Leader will be responsible for coordinating the effective detection, analysis and response to cybersecurity theats in real-time. This role is critical in maintaining the organization's cyber defense posture in all our entities worldwide. You will assist the Cyberdefense Manager in overseeing the SOC team, improving operational efficiency and ensuring the delivery of high-quality cybersecurity services.

🚀 What you’ll be doing:

• Design and implement security operations center (SOC) solutions across different countries and regions.
• Monitor and maintain SOC infrastructure and tools.
• Investigate and coordinate the response to security incidents
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to optimize SOC processes, playbooks and standard operating procedures.
• Conduct research on SOC best practices and emerging technologies.
• Provide technical support and guidance on SOC initiatives to the operations.

🌟 You’re a match

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent preferred.
• 5-8 years of experience in security operations or cybersecurity engineering.
• Experience leading cybersecurity projects and coordinating with international stakeholders.
• Skills working with SIEM tools such as Splunk or Qradar
• Fluency both in Spanish and English is mandatory
• Availability to work on a hybrid working scheme in Bogota.
