Salary: National Circa £95000 and London Circa £110000 

We’re looking for an Offensive Security Developer to join our Attack Simulation team in Aviva’s Cyber Security function.  

You’ll be part of a team that mimics real-world threats to test and strengthen our defences. If you’re passionate about red teaming, love building offensive tools, and want to make a real impact on how we protect millions of customers—this could be your next move. 

A bit about the job: 

You’ll be on the front lines of cyber defence—designing and executing red team engagements, developing custom tools, and simulating real-world threats to test and strengthen our security posture. Working alongside a highly skilled team, you’ll help identify vulnerabilities across people, processes, and technology, and play a key role in protecting millions of customers. 

Skills and experience we’re looking for: 

• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, C/C++, PowerShell, .NET or Rust 

• Deep understanding of Windows/Linux internals and network protocols 

• Proven experience in cloud security testing and Command and Control frameworks 

• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and advanced attack techniques 

• Several years of experience in offensive security or red teaming 

Preferred qualifications and experience: 

• Experience with software development and CI/CD pipelines 

• Certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, OSEP, or similar 

• Background in threat emulation or purple teaming 

• Exposure to regulated or government environments
