Responsibilities:

• Monitoring computer networks for security breaches
• Investigating security incidents and determining the cause of the breach
• Installing and configuring security measures, such as Firewalls and Intrusion detection systems
• Developing and implementing security policies and procedures
• Conducting security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
• Creating and providing training to employees on security best practices 
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption systems
• Reviewing and automating processes to increase efficiency and reduce MTTD and MTTR
• Working with internal teams and third-party providers to complete Corporate Zero Trust initiatives
• Documenting industry standard security controls and creating a plan to achieve compliance based on client needs
• Keeping the Cybersecurity Team up to date on the latest security threats and technologies
• Providing guidance to the rest of the IT Team on security best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field
• 5–7+ years in cybersecurity roles, with demonstrated leadership in incident response and security architecture
• CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Security and SIEM tools, scripting (Python, PowerShell), risk assessment, regulatory compliance (e.g., CMMC, NIST, ISO 27001), ITIL framework, and third-party MSP service management
