Cybersecurity Senior Consultant / Manager

We are looking to strengthen our growing Cyber team in Helsinki with a couple of experienced Security Professionals whose focus, depending on experience and interests, would be in cyber strategy and risk management, cyber management (GRC/ISMS), cyber regulations, or cyber exercises and awareness. The seniority we’re after can range from Senior Consultant to Manager level based on knowledge and experience.

Job Description

Your role

You’ll be making an impact helping clients navigate the complex and ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats and risks and regulations. Your responsibilities will include implementing robust security controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations as well as assisting clients in enhancing their overall cyber security posture.

As a seasoned Cyber professional, you will be taking part in client engagements, building and further developing our service offering and creating new solutions for growing demand in an international environment.

As part of our Cyber team, you will:

• Work on, and possibly lead client projects, developing and implementing cyber security tailored to the unique challenges and regulatory requirements at hand
• Be advising our clients on cybersecurity strategy, governance and operating models
• Evaluate and advise clients through conducting maturity and readiness assessments against leading industry frameworks
• Build and develop long-term relationships with our stakeholders and clients by collaborating with them to truly understand their business requirements and ensuring all engagements are delivered to the highest quality and standards

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

To succeed in this role, you must have curiosity, an open mind, and the attitude of a consultant. The challenges our clients are facing are often complex, so we must be able to learn new concepts quickly and to find the relevant information from the resources in Finland or within our global network.

To ensure succeeding in this role and thriving in our team, we’ve laid down some attributes and requirements for the ideal candidates. We see that having most of these will help you greatly:

• First of all, you are passionate about cybersecurity, consider yourself a cyber professional with enthusiasm towards the topic
• You have several (ideally 3-6) years of experience working with cybersecurity, conducting comprehensive cyber assessments and audits and leading at least small project teams
• You clearly demonstrate knowledge of key risk areas such as cyber risk, compliance risk, regulatory risk and third-party risk
• You have experience in defining and/or implementing security controls across multiple layers of the IT & security architecture as well as understanding and applying risk management principles to effectively manage cyber risk
• You are experienced and interested in security frameworks, regulations and standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, NIS2, DORA, CRA and KATAKRI. Experience implementing and working with ISO Certifications, Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) or GRC technologies is beneficial
• You are able to communicate with people from other disciplines fluently and enjoy building long-term professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• You enjoy challenges and are eager to solve complex client problems and preferably already have experience acting in a consultative role in cyber consulting or cyber governance development. Having experience also from the client perspective is always beneficial, but not required
• You possess some relevant cyber certifications or the ambition to complete them (CISA, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementor / Auditor to name a few)
• You are expected to have excellent command in English (Finnish language skills are seen as an advantage, as we have client projects that require Finnish language proficiency)
• You are required to be currently located in Finland and possess a valid residence permit. We are currently not considering candidates requiring relocation
