Overview

The Senior IT Director of Cyber Security is responsible for the company's Cyber Security Roadmap and support.  This includes the 24x7x365 support of all cybersecurity systems, incidents and request fulfillment.   This is a working IT Director position which requires a working knowledge in the related job requirements while leading two Cybersecurity Engineers.  Our approach to architecture is cloud first using modern systems and data techniques.  Our core IT Strategy is to make technology a differentiator in our operations and create incremental business value beyond just keeping the lights on.  The ability to create value is key.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring of all Cyber technology platforms 24x7x365 as well as Cyber incident response.
  • Serve as a liaison to the field and Corporate support team. Duties include but are not limited to interacting with all stakeholders and other contractors on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues, including after-hours and weekends.
  • Ability to continuously improve service delivery through identification and implementation of company and industry best practices and collaboration with other IT Operations personnel.
  • Maintain our Cyber Security Roadmap to include compliance, privacy and incident response plans
  • Produce all operating policies and procedures and hold overall team directly accountable for adhering to them.
  • Accountable to meet or exceed performance metrics (KPIs) for IT Operations and Cybersecurity
  • Troubleshoot complex systems issues and work with third party resources as required
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects, manage time, and work with other staff members.
  • Soft skills: excellent problem solving, communication, sense of urgency, and possess great customer service skills
  • Working with Microsoft, SentinelOne MDR, Proofpoint, and CyberArk as core toolsets and coordinating with other IT capabilities and their related tools

Qualifications

  • This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • Strong leadership skills to lead a team
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Adept at performing a variety of high priority tasks at the same time
  • Strong understanding of ITIL practices and standards
  • Experiencein developing strategies and roadmaps
  • Five (5)+ years of relevant experience in core infrastructure and Cyber security
  • Experience working in the Public Cloud - AWS and Azure
  • Experience working with Cyber Security platforms including Zero Trust
