Work you will do:

The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for leading the continuous monitoring, detection, and response to security incidents, ensuring the network and systems are protected against cyber threats. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and security of mission-critical systems and ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity standards.

  • Seeking Senior Cybersecurity Analysts with demonstrated experience monitoring computer networks for security issues, investigating security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents, and documenting the impact of cybersecurity incidents on an organization. 
  • An ideal candidate will possess experience working with a team to perform vulnerability testing and remediation and installing security measures such as firewalls and data encryption programs.

Our Cyber Defense & Resilience offering assists clients in defending against advanced threats by transforming security operations, monitoring technology, data analytics, and threat intelligence. Helps manage and protect dynamic attack surfaces and provides rapid crisis and cyber incident response, ensuring clients can be ready for, respond to, and recover from business disruptions.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility required. 
  • Willingness to sit for a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph examination.
  • Ability to be onsite in Huntsville, AL five days a week.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience monitoring computer networks for security issues, responding to, and documenting cybersecurity incidents. 
  • 8+ years of experience with Splunk Enterprise Security.
Preferred: 
  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel.
  • A relevant certification, such as GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA), GIAC Cloud Threat Detection (GCTD), or GIAC Cloud Forensics Responder (GCFR).
