ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cybersecurity Project Manager to join our team.  This is a hybrid position located at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC with no more than 2 remote days a week.

The Cybersecurity Project Manager will demonstrate the ability to strategize, implement, and manage special and high priority project objectives in direct support of the NAVSEA CPRC Director.  This includes understanding DoD, Navy and NAVSEA cybersecurity objectives, familiarity with emergent cyber technologies, knowledge of established cybersecurity frameworks, and working both independently and within broad interdisciplinary project teams to support management of project requirements, scope, schedule, cost, quality and risk.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with cyber incident response and defensive cyber operations (DCO) stakeholders to support the planning and execution of new and existing in-progress projects

  • Support the development of project scope, deliverables, required resources, cost, and plans of actions and milestones (POAM) as necessary

  • Lead and/or support cross functional teams in the execution of project objectives as directed.

  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome project risks, and produce project reports to support periodic reviews

  • Provide technical cybersecurity expertise and recommended courses of action (COA) in response to routine and emergent issues

  • Develop working-level and senior leadership-level briefing materials and white papers as required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience managing projects within the cybersecurity field and DoD 8570 Cybersecurity Workforce credentials

  • Experience with the MITRE ATT&CK and MITRE D3FEND knowledge bases

  • Ability to multitask, work and identify priorities independently, as well as work with large interdisciplinary teams to complete complex projects

  • Microsoft proficiency: Outlook; Excel; Word; PowerPoint; SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting Department of Navy (DoN) and/or NAVSEA cybersecurity initiatives

  • Knowledge of DoD, DoN and NAVSEA cybersecurity policies

  • Familiarity with special cybersecurity considerations related to Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT)

  • Microsoft proficiency: Outlook; Excel; Word; PowerPoint; SharePoint; Access; Power BI; Power Automate

Clearance Requirements:

  • US Citizenship required and an active Top Secret Security clearance with SCI eligibility

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit at a desk or workstation for extended periods while working on a computer

  • Occasional movement within the office for communication and accessing resources


The projected compensation range for this position is $138,700.00-$231,400.00.
