Job Summary

Job Title – Consultant Cybersecurity Vulnerability Management Location – Deerfield, Mexico, India, Remote

Job Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for the entire vulnerability lifecycle to ensure security/safety of Baxter operations.

This role requires a strategic understanding of the business, customer/patient needs, technology, and the purpose & values of Baxter to successfully deliver on the group priorities. A deep understanding of the latest security standards, systems, protocols, and security products is needed.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Work closely with infrastructure and application teams to advise and assist in remediation of vulnerabilities within proper timeframes and track remediation
  • Understand and advise on enterprise policies and technical standards with specific regard to vulnerability management and secure configuration
  • Manage vulnerability metric and remediation-related dashboards and reports
  • Collaborate with application contacts to ensure compliance with our enterprise vulnerability management standards, controls, policies, and principles
  • Educate engineering and product teams across the company on vulnerability compliance and how to improve it

Desired Technical skills / experience:

  • Five years or more of IT experience, including hands-on experience with the design, implementation, and operation of enterprise systems
  • A demonstrated deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices and frameworks such as NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), MITRE ATT&CK (Adversarial Tactics, Techniques, and Common Knowledge) Framework, and OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) Top 10
  • Previous experience with vulnerability reporting and management processes or tools
  • Strong grasp and understanding of vulnerability scoring and classification methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail oriented & organized approach, excellent communication, developed interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience with vulnerability disclosure and bug bounty programs
  • Preferred - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Preferred - CISM, CISSP, CEH, CDPSE, Security+, CCSP or other relevant certifications
  • Preferred - Previous development or system administration experience

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of five years technical experience working with IT
  • Project management experience for full systems lifecycle and tool upgrades, including business case development
  • Initiative-taking to own and solve difficult challenges and ability to motivate others to higher levels of performance and engagement
  • Demonstrated skill working as part of a team, collaborating, and supporting peers in a fast-paced environment
  • Team leadership skills
  • Strong desire and aptitude for continuous learning and keeping abreast of new and emerging technology
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Spanish a plus
  • Preferred - Bachelor's degree
  • Preferred - CISM, CISSP, CEH, CDPSE, Security+, CCSP or other relevant certifications
  • Preferred - Previous development or system administration experience
