Apprenticeship in Cybersecurity - Governance and Compliance

Purpose

The IPS Cybersecurity team is looking for a Cybersecurity trainee for a minimum period of 1 to 2 years.

The position will cover solutions delivered to the IPS Division's customers.

The position reports to the Cybersecurity and Regulatory Compliance Manager for the scope.

The primary aim of the post is to contribute to the Cybersecurity document repository and to the management of regulatory compliance.

The secondary aim of the position is to support the other teams, and in particular to contribute to security vulnerability analyses on the solutions within the scope.

Key Missions

- Review the catalogue of solutions delivered to IPS Division customers

- Become familiar with the existing Cybersecurity document repository

- Contribute to the maintenance and development of Cybersecurity documents (policies / processes / procedures / models) with stakeholders

- Acquire advanced knowledge of each regulation to be dealt with (in particular the Cyber Resilience Act)

- Monitor targeted European regulations

- Analysing and understanding the impact of newly published elements

- Make proposals for adjustments and actions to be taken on existing processes

- Update the internal portal for teams and communicate with teams

- Act as a point of contact for teams on regulatory issues

- Become familiar with vulnerability management tools

- Contribute to vulnerability monitoring and impact analysis

- Help communicate vulnerabilities to teams

Profile & Other Information

Master's student specialising in cybersecurity/digital law/international security

- Interest in European cybersecurity standards (ideally knowledge of certain standards)

- Ability to work in a team

- Ability to interact with technical teams (development / DevSecOps, vulnerability management, etc)

- Knowledge of concepts associated with public vulnerabilities (CVE, CVSS, CPE, etc)

- Ability to summarise and explain in layman's terms

- Ability to write

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Atlassian Teamwork (particularly Confluence)

- Good command of written and spoken English (international environment)

- Experience in an equivalent position is a plus

- Knowledge of security standards (such as ISO27001 / ISO27005) is a plus

- Curious, rigorous, proactive, a good teacher and autonomous
